A Brighter Future for Everyone
Ukuleles are fun!
At Claremont school, we think ukuleles are great because they're enjoyable, affordable and perfect for children. Ukuleles are fun to learn and with a little effort, a beginner can quickly master many recognisable tunes.
Ukulele Orchestra Timetable
From Monday 4th of November, Mr Peel will be running a series of introductory sessions aimed at increasing children's familiarity and ability using a ukulele. Through the performance of contemporary songs, children will develop their musical knowledge and will develop rhythm and accompaniment skills (all this, whilst having fun)! The sessions will take place in small groups and will be available to all children throughout years 3,4,5,and 6.

Dates for the Diary
In previous years, the Claremont Ukulele Club has been a huge success with dozens of pupils now competent performers. This year, lunchtime clubs will be available for children in Years 3 to 6 from early November.
