Sign of the Week
Makaton signs are used with speech to help develop sounds and words. It is used with children who have no speech or whose speech is unclear.
Some of the children in our school use Makaton to communicate.
We wanted to encourage all of the children to use it so we introduced Sign of the Week.
Each week we learn a new sign and use it throughout the week in school.
This week the sign is firework
