How to Apply for 30 Hours
If you are claiming benefits, your child may also be eligible for additional support through the Pupil Premium grant, which can provide extra provisions in school to enhance their education.
When to Apply for 30 Hours
Parents should apply in the term their child turns three to start funding the following term. Eligibility can be checked early, but the 30-hour place will begin in the term after the child’s third birthday or once the eligibility code is validated. Funding cannot start midway through a term, nor will it be backdated. For September starts, the code must be validated by the end of August.
To apply for 30 hours, visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. If eligible, parents will receive an 11-digit code for validation. For issues or disputes, contact the Customer Interaction Centre at 0300 123 4097.
Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)
To check if your child is eligible for EYPP, please complete the application form below and bring it to one of our school offices. If you need a printed copy, we would be happy to provide one for you. Completing this form helps us check if your child qualifies for EYPP, which could provide up to £300 in additional funding for their early education provider to support extra resources, training, and other educational enhancements.
