KS2 Eco Warriors
During Spring term 1 the Eco-Warriors entered a competition aimed at saving energy.
The first prize is a £50,000 energy makeover for the school!

Throughout Spring term 2, we will be starting work on our school garden. We have plans to grow fruit and vegetables.
Very exciting!
To begin with we will be planting potatoes, tomatoes and onions.
If you have any old gardening tools that we could use, please send them in with your Eco-Warrior!

In Eco-Warrior club, we have been busy starting to plant onion, lettuce and tomato seeds in propagators.
They have all started to grow!
Once they are ready, we will be planting them in the school garden along with potatoes, peas, spinach and parsnips.
We have made posters to inform everyone what is growing and to help take care of them by not running over the garden.
