This year, Claremont have celebrated Remembrance Day through discussions in their circle time and SMSC assemblies. We have discussed how this links to 'Preparing for life in Modern Britain: Individual Liberty' discussing the reasons why we commemorate this day and its relevance to us today.
We thought about how the actions of others have allowed us to be free and live the lives we can today.
At 11 O'clock on the 11th November the whole school gathered together to listen to poems and readings, discuss the meaning behind the day and displayed the wreaths each class had made.
We concluded this with a minutes' silence, where we remembered together as a school.
It was a special time where we were able to display our awesome value of 'Show Respect'.
Summer Fayre 2016!
On Wednesday 20th July 2016 Claremont gathered for some fun in the sun.
With stalls, games, raffles and events throughout the afternoon, we had lots of fun and raised £527.21! We would like to thank everyone who was involved, who supported this wonderful event and helped it be such a success.
See you all next year.
