Use your planning from the last lesson to write the newspaper story about the Volcanic Eruption.

You can finish the Newspaper story in lesson 9, so don't think you have to do it all at once.

Remember to Think it, Say it, Write it, Check it.

Rivers of the world.

In the resources section, there are two documents about Rivers. Resource 1 is a table of information all about the world's  Major Rivers.

Look at the information and complete the related questions

Resource 2 is some really interesting information to read about famous rivers.

Read the information and make a River Glossary of any unusual words that you come across.

Examples of words you could include are; glaciers, source, stream, plateau etc

Use a dictionary or the internet to help you find out the meaning of the words.

Resource 3 is an example of a glossary.
