Wednesday 13th January

Subject Task                       Extra Information
Morning Maths

When you have completed the questions, try to upload them onto your Dojo account so I can see how well you have done.

Good luck!

Use your planning from the last lesson to write the newspaper story about the Volcanic Eruption.

You can finish the Newspaper story in lesson 9, so don't think you have to do it all at once.

Remember to Think it, Say it, Write it, Check it.

Click here to see a super video to help you with this lesson.

Click here to access the White Rose Maths lesson.

It is called Perimeter of Rectilinear Shapes, so make sure you choose the right one!

Answer the questions on the Worksheet at the bottom of the page.

If you have got the worksheets on paper, you can fill them in.

If not, just answer the questions on any paper that you have.

If you run out of paper, message me on Dojo and we will see what we can do.

Open the Questions document at the bottom of the page. There are Green, Yellow and Red questions, so just answer the ones you are comfortable with.

Use the Text document, also at the bottom of the page, to remind you of the story.

I will put the answers to the questions on the website on Friday's reading lesson.

Rivers of the world.

In the resources section, there are two documents about Rivers. Resource 1 is a table of information all about the world's  Major Rivers.

Look at the information and complete the related questions

Resource 2 is some really interesting information to read about famous rivers.

Read the information and make a River Glossary of any unusual words that you come across.

Examples of words you could include are; glaciers, source, stream, plateau etc

Use a dictionary or the internet to help you find out the meaning of the words.

Resource 3 is an example of a glossary.
