Activity 1 Rhyming strings

Remind your child that our special song this week is Humpty Dumpty. Can you sing it together? Tell them this song has lots of rhyming words in. That means the words end with the same sound. For example Humpty and Dumpty, wall and fall, men and again.
Watch the video below. You will be given two rhyming words and then you have to think of your own word that rhymes too.
Do not worry if your child cannot hear the rhyming words yet, in the space after the singer has said the two rhyming words you could use this time to repeat these words. This video will still be a great tool to expose your child to different rhyming words and to expand their vocabulary.
