1.Spend 10 minutes playing on garage to move further along your training programme.

2.Spend 5 minutes on Studio to increase your studio speed.

1. Play for approx 15 minutes on STORY - making sure you get past the Iron Stage.

Read your reading book for 15 minutes.

Think about what you are reading.

If you come across a difficult word, try to work out what it means by:

  • thinking about the whole sentence
  • is it a noun, verb, adjective or adverb?
  • do the pictures on the page help?
  • think about what the characters in the book might be saying to each other

Ask someone to listen to you read if they have time. Ask them to ask you questions about the book. This will help you to understand it better.

This lesson may take you a couple of days,so use tomorrow to complete the activity.

Build a model habitat.

Today, I would like you to create a simple model of an animal habitat of your choice.

You can do this inside a box, such as a cereal box, or shoe box. Here are some examples of models completed by other children.


Use the internet to research your ideas and think carefully about where the animal lives, what it will eat and the conditions it will need for reproduction.

If you are unable to make a model, don't worry, just choose an animal of your choice and draw a labelled picture of your habitat.
