Dear parents and carers,
I hope that you are all safe and well.
I have attached a link to a letter from Nottingham City Council which states that they are now in support of schools opening to more pupils from next Monday. We will be opening to some of our Year 6 pupils on Monday and stay open for our Key Worker and Vulnerable group of pupils. It is extremely unlikely that Claremont will be in a position to open to any more pupils before the end of this academic year unless the rules around social distancing are changed. This is to do with the size, shape and age of our building as well as the number of toilets available to our pupils. I understand that this may be confusing and disappointing to some of you, but I have made this decision as part of the extensive risk assessment that I have done with the governors of our school.
Best wishes and stay safe.
