Claremont Primary and Nursery School

A Brighter Future for Everyone

Update on reopening in September

Dear parents and carers,

I wanted to take this chance to thank you for all of your hard work and support during the current pandemic crisis.

We are working really hard to prepare our risk assessment for opening in September but it is really detailed and will require longer than I have got before the end of term to finalise.

I wanted to write to you all with the following information:

  • Claremont Primary and Nursery School will be open to all pupils from Wednesday 2nd September 2020.
  • Nursery and Reception pupils have already been contacted by Mrs O’Brien and have personalised information about their return to school.
  • We are planning staggered starts and finishes and I will share this information with you all via Class Dojo and email on or around 17th August 2020.
  • We will risk assess our wrap around care and are hoping to be able to offer a Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club which will be confirmed on or around 17th August 2020.
  • We will include details of the steps we are taking to keep everyone as safe as possible.
  • If you are travelling abroad this summer, we ask that you observe any quarantine requirements set out by the Government.

All of this information is subject to the Government guidance remaining in place and no changes to the current situation in Nottingham.  If that changes, we will inform of our plans as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact the school via email, Class Dojo or telephone (01159156870) before we close on 24th July.

Please stay safe and I look forward to seeing you all again in September.

Best wishes,

Rob Campbell
