Main Activity

This is your second week of area and perimeter activities - you will be real experts by the end.smiley

Lesson 6

In this lesson, you will learn about what area means. We will explore how it is different from perimeter and begin to develop strategies to help us calculate area. We will use multiplication facts to help us along the way. You will also learn that area is measured in squared units, e.g. cm squared. Make sure you have a sharp pencil and a ruler ready to complete any tasks you will be set.
