A Brighter Future for Everyone

This week's phonics is a bit different!

Uploaded is a presentation which you will have to watch and follow the instructions. Some of the slides have a megaphone icon and when you click on it it will tell you what to do.

Today in English we will box up the story of The Fossil Girl.

Watch a video again and then complete the task. The boxes on the right are for you to draw some lovely pictures :)

Choose the worksheet that you are the most comfortable with.

The Fossil Girl

A ten year old girl made history about 200 years ago, her name was Mary Anning. Mary became an expert fossil hunter before anyone really knew about life mill...

Today we would like you to carry on with one more and one less within 50.

Monday maths with a challenge

Today in our topic lesson we are going to talk about habitats.

But what is a habitat? Have you ever heard about it?

A habitat is a place where animals and plants live. We are going to focus on dinosaur habitats and ten we will try to create one for our dinosaurs😊

Play the presentation and find out the places the dinosaurs lived in.

Dinosaur habitats

Most of the dinosaurs we have found lived along ancient rivers or streams and roamed across the forested floodplains, swamps and lakes. Some discoveries have also shown that dinosaurs inhabited deserts with fields of sand dunes.

Now it’s your turn to make a dinosaur habitat. Is it going to live in a jungle or maybe a swamp?

Have a look at some ideas.

Do not worry if you haven’t got anything you could use to make your habitat. Maybe you could just draw a beautiful picture of a dinosaur near the river or in the desert.

We cannot wait to see your work!
