A Brighter Future for Everyone

Hello everyone,

We hope you had a lovely holiday and are ready for another week of home schooling!

Our topic for this half term is 'Dinosaur Planet'. We hope you will enjoy it!

Please remember there will be no spelling test this week.

Later this week, you will need some plain flour to complete a fun activity!

Today we are looking at the 'or' sound.

In English this week we are learning about Mary Anning, who is famous for finding fossils in England. Watch the video of a story called 'The Fossil Girl', and then test your understanding by answering the questions on the sheet below. Try to answer in full sentences if you can.

A ten year old girl made history about 200 years ago, her name was Mary Anning. Mary became an expert fossil hunter before anyone really knew about life mill...

All the information you need to answer the questions is in the story. If you would like to learn more facts about Mary Anning, have a look at the Power Point below.

This week in maths we are learning about place value to 50.

Today we will be trying to learn numbers to 50.

There is a numbers to 50 grid below to help you with this. Keep it safe as you will need it later in the week.

Before the lesson there is a quick video activity to help you with counting to 50 in tens.
