After you have listened to the story can you answer these questions?


Who was in the story?

Why did George give his clothes to different animals?

How could you help some-one who feels sad?

Have you felt sad before? What/who made you feel happy?


If your child shrugs or says “I don’t know” when you ask them these questions try answering these yourself first. Even if your child copies your answers you are still providing them with a great language model and extending their vocabulary.
