Home Learning

Learning from home ....

Hello home learners!

A little hello from us to you 😊

Home Learning in F2

Learning from home may feel daunting, but let’s take a second to remember that your child is learning all the time; watching you mix and measure ingredients whilst cooking, getting quicker at putting on their coats, counting the steps as they climb upstairs, noticing the weather outside or making up a story with their favourite toy are all valuable learning experiences. Because of this, our home learning activities are not lots of worksheets or lengthy writing tasks but rather 10-15-minute activities to boost the natural learning your child is already doing through playing and exploring.

Daily Routine

Be kind to yourself. Any routine needs to fit your own unique situation. If you can manage it you may wish to spread out the following activities over the day:

  • A phonics activity.
  • A maths activity.
  • Sharing a book together.
  • Spread out a pic 'n' mix activity over 2-3 days.
  • Making time to play and talk with your child.

Directions for all these activities are found on this page.

Self-Isolation

Once you are well, we hope you can share some of your home learning with your teacher through Class Dojo. We are really missing you!

Class Isolation

You can make a start on the home learning activities but expect extra surprises from your teachers!

Home Learning Pack - Here our activities for Autumn 2 can be seen on one document and printed copies of this can be obtained from our School Office.
