Activity 1: Using positional language
You will be acting out all of these words today!
How you approach this activity is up to you and your child. You have 3 options to choose from:
- Decorate an egg and pretend it is Humpty Dumpty and take him on a journey of your home and garden. For example he could sit on the stairs, he could look under the sofa he might go inside a cereal box. See how many of the positional words you can use.
- In your house shout out the words and your child has to do the action. Can they stand next to a door? Can they crawl under a table? Can they stand behind a chair?
- You can do the number 2 option outside when you go for a walk or in your garden.
Activity 2: Get Moving.
Physical
Join in with the dancing and when you hear 'freeze' you have to be as still as a statue!
