A Brighter Future for Everyone

Activity 1: Using positional language

You will be acting out all of these words today!

How you approach this activity is up to you and your child. You have 3 options to choose from:

  1. Decorate an egg and pretend it is Humpty Dumpty and take him on a journey of your home and garden. For example he could sit on the stairs, he could look under the sofa he might go inside a cereal box. See how many of the positional words you can use.
  2. In your house shout out the words and your child has to do the action. Can they stand next to a door? Can they crawl under a table? Can they stand behind a chair?
  3. You can do the number 2 option outside when you go for a walk or in your garden.

Activity 2: Get Moving.

Join in with the dancing and when you hear 'freeze' you have to be as still as a statue!
