Using the book You're A Bad Man, Mr Gum you will learn how to explain what words mean, identify how an author creates humour and write dialogue in the style of the author.

Today's lesson links our mountain and habitats work together.

The lesson is called 'Altitudinal Zones'

The altitude of a mountain is basically the height of the mountain above sea level.

As altitude increases,the temperature decreases - in other words - it gets colder.

Read the Altitude Zones information sheet , in the resources section, to see how the altitude of a mountain affects the ange of plants and animals that can survive.

Then try to complete the table and answer the questions on the Altitude Questions

sheet.
