Today's lesson links our mountain and habitats work together. The lesson is called 'Altitudinal Zones' The altitude of a mountain is basically the height of the mountain above sea level. As altitude increases,the temperature decreases - in other words - it gets colder. Read the Altitude Zones information sheet , in the resources section, to see how the altitude of a mountain affects the ange of plants and animals that can survive. Then try to complete the table and answer the questions on the Altitude Questions sheet. |
